Arsenal and Manchester City have reportedly struck a deal for the transfer of Gabriel Jesus.
The deal which will see the 25-year-old striker moving to the London club is expected to earn the Premier League champions a guaranteed transfer fee of $55.2M.
The deal is one that sat high on the priority list of the Gunners as they sought to replace the departed Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
For Manchester City, the sale was warranted with the Citizens already bolstering their attacking ranks with the arrivals of Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland from River Plates and Borussia Dortmund respectively.
Arsenal’s London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have also been identified as potential suitors for Jesus, but it seems Mikel Arteta has already won the race for the attacker.
