According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Manchester United is showing an increasing determination to sign Juventus defender Gleison Bremer during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have been looking to bolster their defense with a marquee center-back, and it seems that Bremer has emerged as their top target. Galetti reveals that United’s interest in Bremer is becoming more and more insistent, indicating their strong desire to secure his services.
Juventus, on the other hand, are aware of the possibility of him leaving the club and have already identified Atletico Madrid star Mario Hermoso as a potential replacement. Hermoso could be available on a free transfer as his contract expires on June 30.
For United, Bremer could be seen as the ideal signing to replace Raphael Varane, who is expected to leave when his contract expires this summer. The 27-year-old Brazilian is a powerful center-back with a commanding presence at the back. He has excelled in Serie A this season, winning 59% of his duels and making 4.1 clearances and 5.3 ball recoveries per game.
