It’s now clear that the likes of Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani would chart Algeria’s course in Ivory Coast.
After wins in the Matchday 1 and 2 fixtures for Algeria, they maintained a 100% record with four wins from four matches to book their way to the next year’s showpiece courtesy of their narrow 0-1 win against Niger Republic.
