With the African Cup of Nations reaching the peak via Matchday 4 fixtures a couple of African teams have qualified for the tournament.

They will be joined by the host Nation Ivory Coast for the biennial showpiece slated next year in 2024.

However, Ghana and Nigeria are yet to make it as well as Cameroon who are struggling against African minnows (with due respect) Namibia.

After wins in the Matchday 1 and 2 fixtures for Algeria, they maintained a 100% record with four wins from four matches to book their way to the next year’s showpiece courtesy of their narrow 0-1 win against Niger Republic.
