With the African Cup of Nations reaching the peak via Matchday 4 fixtures a couple of African teams have qualified for the tournament.

The African Champions sealed their place in the AFCON slated next year after beating Mozambique home and away.
They defeated the Mozambique side 5-1 at home. Before claiming a narrow 0-1 away win at home.

Algeria (Desert Foxes)
The Algerian side proved their mettle by winning both games against the Niger Republic to cement their AFCON places.
It’s now clear that the likes of Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani would chart Algeria’s course in Ivory Coast.
After wins in the Matchday 1 and 2 fixtures for Algeria, they maintained a 100% record with four wins from four matches to book their way to the next year’s showpiece courtesy of their narrow 0-1 win against Niger Republic.
