Kanu Congratulates Wenger On Premier League Hall of Fame Induction

Former Super Eagles forward, Nwankwo Kanu has congratulated his former manager at Arsenal, Arsene Wenger following the Frenchman induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame.

Wenger was inducted on Wednesday alongside his old foe and legendary former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.

“KAN U BELIEVE IT Richly Deserved πŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½ Congratulations to Arsenal Wenger. @premierleauge Hal of fame induction,” Kanu wrote on his Twitter handle.

The 73-year-old, who arrived Arsenal in 1996 was one of the first foreign managers in the Premier League.

The former Monaco manager, who introduced a number of revolutionary football philosophy to the English game stayed at the North London club until 2018.

Kanu was signed for Arsenal by Wenger from Serie A club, Inter Milan in January 1999.

He spent five years with the club winning two Premier League and FA Cup titles.
