One of Nigeria’s attacking sensation and fast rising Rivers United winger, Kayode Ishaq, has expressed delight over his inclusion in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) team that will play the Budweiser Game of Kings which features La Liga legend, Roberto Carlos as well as EPL great, John Terry.
The Budweiser Game Of Kings comes up in Lagos at the Teslim Balogun Stadium from 18th-21st November 2021.
The former Remo and Shooting Stars forward who was part of the NPFL U-17 All-Stars team that lost 2-1 to Atletico Madrid at the 2017 edition of Gauteng Future Champions tournament, has wasted little time in becoming a fan favourite in Port Harcourt.
In a chat with the media, the highly rated youngster couldn’t hide his joy and revealed that he is really anticipating a great outing at the camp.
“I am happy that the work I have been doing is being recognized. I am happy to work and learn from the players in camp,” Ishaq told the Media.
“Every player wants to play in such a big match so I am hapy to have been in so I am looking forward to it.”
The former Golden Eaglets ace has put up an impressive performance for Stanley Eguma’s Rivers United and has been tipped to eventually break into the national team proper.
