On Sunday, the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL concluded matchday four.

A total of eight meetings were held with five home wins, three draws, and 11 goals scored in total.

Enyimba and Lobi Stars scored the highest number of points each with 3-0 wins against Kwara United and Bayelsa United respectively.

The People’s Elephant made a strong comeback from last week’s loss to Plateau United.

Lobi Stars continued their impressive streak with their third consecutive win.

While Emeka Obioma notched up two goals for Enyimba in their victory over Kwara, Adebambo got off to a flying start with his debut goal for the team.

At Jos Stadium, Lobi Stars edged out newcomers Bayelsa 3-0. Sunshine Stars recorded their first win of the season at Akure Township Stadium while Gbenga Ogunbote led his team to a 1-0 victory over El Kanemi at Ibadan.

James Ajako’s 79th minute strike sent Plateau united packing with a lone goal defeat against Akwa United and Yusuf Taiye equalised late on for Gombe United, drawing them level with Wikki Tourists 1-1 at Doma Stadium.

Meanwhile, no goals were recorded in both Kaduna and Bauchi games as Niiger Tornadoes held Rangers to a barren draw while Wikki Tourists played out a stalemate against Doma FC.
