Sir Alex Ferguson, legendary manager of Manchester United Football Club, recently expressed his opinion that Marcus Rashford is not a striker and that the side should consider signing an additional one.
This comes after Rashford scored his 25th goal of the season in the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United.
Ferguson went on to praise Rashford’s finishing technique and movement, noting that he is currently their main source of goals.
Though United signed Wout Weghorst on loan during the January transfer window, it is unlikely they will pursue him permanently at the end of the season.
Instead, they are expected to target Victor Osimhen from Napoli who has earned 19 goals in 20 appearances this Serie A season; however, reports suggest Napoli would demand €100 million for his transfer if pursued by Manchester United.
