Man United player Christian Eriksen leaves Old Trafford on crutches

Christian Eriksen is a major doubt for Manchester United’s upcoming fixtures after the midfielder was spotted leaving Old Trafford on crutches on Saturday night with a protective boot on his left ankle.
Erik ten Hag, United’s manager, stated that Eriksen’s injury will require at least 24 hours before any further information can be given.
The 30-year-old has been impressive since joining the club back in the summer, and was even preferred to Fred and Scott McTominay in midfield alongside Casemiro during his time with United so far, contributing two goals and nine assists in all competitions.
After Eriksen left the pitch due to an injuray sustained by Andy Carroll’s poor challenge against Reading, Casemiro was instrumental in United’s 3-1 victory with two goals and one assist; Ten Hag expressed his admiration for such accomplishments afterwards.
