Latest On Richarlison Injury As Tottenham Provide Update
Tottenham Hotspur assistant coach Cristian Stellini has provided an update on Richarlison’s injury, revealing that it is a adductor problem but is not serious.
Richarlison missed the Spurs’ 3-0 win over Preston in the FA Cup on Saturday as a result of the issue.
According to Stellini, this injury was different from his hamstring problem and should have no bearing on his return to training next week.
Newly signed forward Arnaut Danjuma also got off to a good start with a goal at Deepdale and Stellini believes he should bring more attacking options for Tottenham.
Son Heung-min scored twice which gave Spurs enough of an edge so that they could control the game in the second half.
Despite Preston’s strong defense in the first half, Tottenham was able to break through with Son’s strike and eventually secure a comfortable victory.
