Jorginho may have already seen his Arsenal exit doors open up prematurely due to four players.
The Italian midfielder made his arrival at the club a matter of days ago but there have been talks that he won’t be there for long.
Initially, only an 18-month contract with an option of a further year had been agreed with Jorginho, and while Mikel Arteta had long desired him, Arsenal’s focus could soon switch back to their two main targets: Moises Caicedo and Declan Rice.
With Thomas Partey being a key presence in the midfield, and Mohamed Elneny expected to stay for another year as well, this could cause congestion for positions within the team.
As such it appears that Jorginho could take advantage of transfer reporter Graeme Bailey’s reports stating that if he helps them win the title this season he might still return to Italy in the summer despite the expiry of his contract.
