Golden Eaglets defender, Yahaya Lawali has been included in the Best X1 of the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
The tournament’s Best X1 was revealed by the Technical Study Group (TSG) on Sunday.
Lawali excelled as a right-back in the competition and made the selection despite the Golden Eaglets elimination at the quarter-final stage.
The 16-year-old was named Man of the Match in Nigeria’s opening two games against Zambia and Morocco.
