Rivers United CAF Confederation Cup Group B clash with Motema Pembe of Democratic Republic of Congo will now be played today, it has been confirmed.
The Group B clash was pushed to today after the Congolese failed to arrive in time for the game on Wednesday.
The match was originally slated for yesterday (Wednesday) at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

“The CAF TotalEnergies Confederation’s Cup group B matchday 4 tie between Rivers United and DC Motema Pembe will now be played on Thursday (today) 9 March at 3pm (15:00 HRS),” Rivers United confirmed on their official Twitter handle on Thursday morning.
Stanley Eguma’s side won the first leg 1-0 in Luanda courtesy of Paul Acquah’s second half strike.
Rivers United are second in Group B with six points from three matches, a point behind leaders ASEC Mimosas from Cote d’Ivoire who have played a game more.
Motema Pembe are bottom of the standings on two points.
