Super Eagles Retain 39th Position In Latest FIFA Ranking

The Super Eagles maintained 39th position in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola monthly ranking released on Thursday.

The West Africans also maintained their sixth position in Africa.

Jose Peseiro’s side are behind the Atlas Lions of Morocco, Terangha Lions of Senwhal , Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, Desert Foxes of Algeria and Pharaohs of Egypt on the continent.

There are no changes in the top fives teams in the world.

World champions Argentina (1st) remain at the top of the pile, with the other two podium places occupied by France (2nd) and Brazil (3rd), closely followed by England (4th) and Belgium (5th)

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World ranking will be published on 21 September.
