A Serbian coach by the name Mladen Krstajić has been identified as a possible replacement for the much criticized Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr.
According to a Nigerian journalist based in Canada, Wale Ajayi, it’s understood that Rohr has been axed by the Nigeria Football Federation as the head coach of the national team, however, there has been no official statement from the football body.
Meanwhile, the football federation is also believed to have concluded plans to employ 47 year old former Serbian National team coach Mladen Krstajić as new coach of the Super Eagles.
Krstajic was in charge of the Serbian National Team during the 2018 FIFA World Cup hosted by Russia where they failed to proceed beyond the group stage of the competition.
On Gernot Rohr, there are reports that the NFF has agreed with Gernot Rohr’s representatives to pay all his outstanding salaries and his total severance package on installmental basis.
NFF president Amaju Mekvin Pinnick will arrive London on Monday to seal the deal.
