REPORT: Tottenham Set To Release £83,000-A-Week Player In January Transfer Window
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Bryan Gil, the 21-year-old Spanish winger currently earning £83,000 a week at Tottenham Hotspur, is about to be loaned out to Sevilla in the January transfer window.
Romano has also stated that there will be no option for Sevilla to make this loan deal permanent once it’s complete.
A medical exam has reportedly been booked ahead of the move.
Given that Gil hasn’t enjoyed much playing time since joining Spurs in the summer, it makes sense for him to try out a loan spell with a new team.
The Spanish international has only made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season and he has given one assist in those matches.
He played 31 minutes of football in the Carabao Cup and 36 minutes of football in the UEFA Champions League as well but evidently wasn’t quite able to break into manager Antonio Conte’s starting eleven.
