Former Nigerian midfielder, Friday Ekpo has advised the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to focus more attention on the Super Eagles’ preparation for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Ekpo, who is a member of the Nigeria Football Federation’s Technical study group made this known in a chat with Brila FM.
He said that Nigerians should not be in obsession for the choice of who gets paired with Nigeria ahead of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers final playoff.
He stressed that the Federation’s planning as well should be on how the team gets to do well in the Africa cup of nations which will be a good platform to get the team prepared adequately as well as possible friendlies to put the team in top shape.
