Manchester United have reportedly drawn up a three-player shortlist consisting of Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko and Harry Kane, in order to bolster their attack going into the summer transfer window.
This is following the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo in November, leaving Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford as the only established forwards in Erik ten Hag’s squad.
Spurs striker and England captain Kane’s presence on the list will likely draw the most attention, given that his contract with them runs out in 2024.
Despite having yet to win a major trophy in his career, he was open to joining Manchester City last summer.
However, Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy blocked any potential move away from the club.
United have brought in several strikers over the years – including Radamel Falcao, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Odion Ighalo, Romelu Lukaku and Edinson Cavani – but none have been a consistent long-term solution for their attacking line-up.
