Kwara United General Manager Bashir Badawiy is excited with his side 1-1 draw against Bendel Insurance of Benin and has also urged the players to keep up with the momentum.

Second half goals from Mohammed Alao for Kwara United and Deputy Echeta for Bendel Insurance ensured that the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 13 clash would end with both sides sharing the spoils at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.

The team General Manager hailed the fighting spirit of the players and also charged them to keep up with the momentum adding that there is still along way to go.

“Yea good game, good results even though we wanted to win but getting a draw here is was impressive, we all know Bendel are in a good form this season to get a draw here is something to be happy about”.

The Ira born sports administrator who was Benin city thanked the fans for having confident in the team. He also urged the fans to be patient with the team also assuring them that Kwara United will surely bounce back.
