Newly appointed Glasgow Rangers boss Giovanni Van Bronckhorst heaped praise on Joe Aribo for his goalscoring display in their clash against Hearts on Sunday.
Alfredo Morelos hit the ground running for the Scottish champions in the ninth minute, thereafter the Super Eagles midfielder doubled the advantage four minutes later to continue his goalscoring form for Rangers this season.
A well struck pass from Goldson right over the top was cushioned down by Aribo, before he smashed the ball with a left footed shoot past Hearts goalkeeper Graig Gordon.
The midfield meastro has scored three goals in his last four league games for Rangers, and forced an own goal in last weekend’s home win over Dundee FC.
Van Bronckhorst while speaking with Rangers TV said: “Joe is very dynamic and we talk a lot with him and all of the midfielders about when to be available in the build up and when to be attacking the spaces the opponent leaves.”
“So he is doing better and better, ans it was a very important role he had today and of course with the goal he helped us all.”
Next up for Glasgow Rangers at home is St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership, and they will hope to pick maximum point against their opponent on Wednesday.
