Federico Valverde Club Career

Fede’s football journey began quite early at the age of three where he displayed an intense eagerness for the beautiful game of football.

His passion for the game was so huge that he shown interest in combining football with his education, which led to his parents enrolling him at “Estudiantes de la Union” a modest football academy in Montevideo.

He scored his first goal against Danube academy during an official match which happened to be his debut game for Estudiantes de la Union.

Fede was integrated into the academy team properly at the age of six, in a period when they’ve finally recognized his potential and talent.

Road to fame came to the fore in 2008 when he got an invite for trials at one of the most prominent football club in Uruguay “Penarol” at the age of nine.
