Chelsea confirm signing of Ivorian striker David Fofana
Chelsea has acquired the service of Ivorian forward, David Datro Fofana, from the Norwegian club Molde for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old accepted his medical in London on Tuesday after reaching a €12m pre-agreement.
This transfer comes about with the club’s striker, Armando Broja, being ruled out, due to a knee injury sustained during a friendly match against Aston Villa.
As per rumors that have been spread so far, Fofana was the second highest goal scorer in Eliteserien this season with 15 goals and 24 appearances.
Chelsea have officially announced David’s arrival which will be starting 1st January 2023 and they look forward to having him as part of their squad!
