Champions League Top Scorers All-Time

Who are the Champions League top scorers all-time? Who has scored the most goals in the history of the Champions League? Who has the most Champions League Golden Boot? Who is Champions League’s all-time top scorer? Who is UCL’s all-time top scorer? How many times was Ronaldo UCL’s top scorer?

Currently, Cristiano Ronaldo has the most goals in the history of the UEFA Champions League by a very large margin compared to others, and the reason is simple.

The European Champion Clubs’ Cup, as the UCL was then known, used to be a straight knockout competition and so the games being played were fewer until the 1990s when the tournament was expanded. So the likes of Ronaldo play more games today, hence more goals.
