Bayern Munich has decided not to sack their under-fire manager, Thomas Tuchel, despite a string of disappointing results.

The team’s season took a hit with a third consecutive defeat, losing 3-2 to mid-table Bochum on Sunday.

This loss has pushed them eight points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, making their bid to retain the Bundesliga title for a record 12th time increasingly difficult.

The defeat against Bochum followed a dismal 1-0 loss to Lazio in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, which came on the back of a humiliating 3-0 defeat against Leverkusen.

Tuchel finds himself in hot water, but Bayern Munich’s management believes that he can turn things around.

Despite the team’s recent struggles, Tuchel will not be dismissed this week.

Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has expressed his support for the 50-year-old manager, stating that the issue of Tuchel’s position is not the team’s current focus.

Tuchel himself is not considering quitting, according to Sky Germany.

Tuchel remains defiant, claiming that his team was unlucky to lose against Bochum.

He believes that the defeat was undeserved, citing several clear-cut chances and the team’s domination of the game.

Despite the setback, Tuchel insists that his team never lost hope and fought until the final whistle.

Bayern midfielder Leon Goretzka described the team’s current form as a “horror movie that won’t end.”

He expressed frustration with the team’s recent run of bad luck and individual errors.

Bayern Munich’s next match is against RB Leipzig on Saturday. With Bayer Leverkusen playing a day earlier, Bayern could find themselves 11 points behind the league leaders by kick-off.

Despite the mounting pressure, Bayern Munich has decided to stand by Thomas Tuchel and give him the opportunity to turn the team’s fortunes around.
