Manchester United will be facing Luton Town on Sunday as they aim to secure a top-four spot in the Premier League.

However, the Red Devils are also keeping an eye on potential signings for the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to Reports, United have made an enquiry about the availability of Bayern Munich’s young striker, Mathys Tel.

Tel, an 18-year-old forward, joined Bayern from Rennes in 2022 and has shown promise in his second season with the club.

Although most of his appearances have come as a substitute in the Bundesliga, he has already made 27 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring six goals.

United‘s interest in Tel is understandable as manager Erik ten Hag looks to strengthen his attacking options.

The Dutchman is known for his preference for versatile players, and Tel’s ability to play in multiple positions across the frontline could make him an appealing prospect.

It is worth noting that United are not the only club interested in Tel.

Two other unnamed Premier League sides, as well as clubs from across Europe, have also shown an interest in signing the young striker.

However, it is important to mention that United previously pursued Harry Kane, who ultimately joined Bayern last summer.

As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see if United can secure the services of Mathys Tel and add him to their squad.

In the meantime, fans will be eagerly awaiting the outcome of Sunday’s match against Luton Town, hoping for a positive result that keeps their top-four hopes alive.
