Bayern Munich are almost through with the signing of Chelsea transfer target Matthijs de Ligt.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the German giants reached a verbal agreement with Juventus last night and the two clubs have been in direct contact for some time.
The Old Lady accepted a bid from Bayern which could amount to as much as €80million (£68 million) once add-ons are taken into account.

De Ligt, who was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, will reportedly pen a five-year deal at the Allianz Arena.
AS per football.london, the Blues held talks with Juventus for the defender.

But, by Bayern throwing their hat in the ring, Chelsea were blown out of the water and have since set their sights elsewhere.
