Arsenal have recently asked about the possibility of signing Leeds United’s target player, Weston McKennie.
The American has been a subject of interest by multiple Premier League clubs in the past weeks and is currently on the radar of Juventus for a potential transfer away before the end of January.
While Leeds United have already held initial talks over an agreement on personal terms with Juventus, Mikel Arteta and Arsenal aim to join in the race for McKennie.
The Gunners are eyeing another midfield addition to their squad, however, other more likely prospects such as Eduardo Camavinga don’t present themselves well.
Due to this, Arsenal have inquired about McKennie and are hoping that their American ties can be used to steer him towards moving to West Yorkshire.
