Enyimba, Remo Stars, Sporting Lagos and Katsina United are in Group A.
Osho have just one week to prepare his team for the competition but upbeat they will put up a good display in Lagos.
“No room for excuses. Akwa Utd is a brand and we must go to Lagos to defend our badge,” the young tactician was quoted by the club’s official website.
Akwa United will take on Yobe Desert Stars in their first game of the competition on Saturday.
