2025 AFCON: CAF Inspects Nigeria’s Stadia Facilities

Confederation of African Football (CAF) inspectors have inspected the facilities put forward by Nigeria for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The West Africans has put forward a joint bid with neighbours Benin Republic to host the biennial competition.

The CAF team will inspected the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba and Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

The Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City and Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna were also inspected by the team.

They were accompanied by officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF’).

The inspectors will also check out the Stade Charles de Gaulle, Porto Novo in Benin Republic.

It would be recalled that Nigeria co-hosted the 2000 AFCON finals with Ghana.
