Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum is expecting a difficult test against Republic of Ireland in their Group B contest on Monday (today).
The West Africans will be hoping to make it to the knockout round of the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the third time when they take on Vera Pauw’s side at the Lang Park, Brisbane.
Waldrum’s side top Group B with four points from two games and need just a point to book a spot in the Round of 16.
Republic of Ireland have nothing but pride to play for in the encounter having lost their opening two games to co-hosts Australia and Canada.

The Girls in Green lost narrowly in both games (1-0 to Australia and 2-1 to Canada).
Waldrum believed they will be a tough nut to crack for his side going by their performance so far in the competition.
“It is going to be a very difficult game. People may think I am crazy for saying this, but I think it could be our hardest match,” Waldrum told Reuters.
“Ireland have been a bit unlucky in the first two matches and could have got a result.
“We are not expecting them to lay down because they are going home already, I am expecting to get the best from them and have been very impressed with their team and their organisation.”
