Leone Stars head coach, John Keister has said his players will give their all against the Super Eagles on Sunday.
Keister’s side will face the three-time African champions in a win or bust encounter at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia.
The Leone Stars occupy third position in Group A of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier and only a win against their highly-fancied opponent will keep their qualification hopes alive.
The Super Eagles , who need just a point from the game are overwhelming favourites to beat their fellow West Africans.

The young tactician has however said his players are battle ready for the task ahead.
“We know this is a match that we need to win, and therefore we have to be positive in our approach against a difficult Nigerian side – and we will definitely be,” Keister told Football Sierra Leone.
“We are a young group, but there is just this feeling that we can come here and get a result against Nigeria. It’s going to be a fight
” We are ready to deal with whatever is thrown at us. Football is about the day who wants it the most.” he said.
The highly anticipated encounter will kick off at 5pm Nigeria time.
