According to a report by Daily Post, Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, has dropped two places in the latest FIFA Men’s Ranking.

The three-time African champions went from the 28th position to the 30th. The drop in ranking comes after the Super Eagles played two friendly matches last month.

They secured a victory against their eternal rivals, Ghana, with a score of 2-1.

However, they suffered a defeat against the Eagles of Mali, losing 2-0.

Despite the drop in ranking, the Super Eagles still maintain the third position in Africa, following the Atlas Lions of Morocco and the Terangha Lions of Senegal.

The Pharaohs of Egypt and the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire complete the top five teams on the continent.

At the global level, the world champions, Argentina, continue to hold the top position in the FIFA Men’s Ranking.

FIFA Men’s Ranking is updated regularly to reflect the performance of national teams in international matches.
