Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, will face Zimbabwe in Group C of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Zimbabwe Football Association recently announced the Warriors’ 23-man squad for the upcoming match. The game is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 19th November, with Nigeria serving as the visiting team.

Among the players selected to face the Super Eagles are Jordan Zemura, a defender from Udinese, and Tinotenda Kadewere, a forward from Lyon.

The squad also includes Marvellous Nakamba, who plays for Luton Town, and Marshall Munetsi from Stade de Reims.

Prior to the match against Nigeria, the Warriors will face Rwanda away on Wednesday, 15th November, for their first Group C game.

The team has already begun their preparations, holding their first training session at the Kigali Pele Stadium in Rwanda’s capital.

On the other hand, the Super Eagles’ players are expected to arrive in Uyo today (Monday) for their upcoming matches against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
