Yves Bissouma Handed One Match Ban Over Controversial Video

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Manager Ange Postecoglou has revealed Yves Bissouma will miss Tottenham’s trip to Leicester on Monday.

The midfielder has been suspended by Spurs for one match, after he filmed himself inhaling nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas.

The substance, classified as a Class C drug, became illegal for recreational use in the UK last year.

Bissouma has publicly apologized for his actions, acknowledging the health risks and the lapse in judgment.

He stated, “I understand how serious this is and the health risks involved, and I also take my responsibility as a footballer and role model very seriously.”

“We’ve suspended him for Monday’s game. The door is open for him, and hopefully, we can help him to realize the decisions he makes impact more than just him.

He has responsibilities to the club, his team-mates, our supporters, and everyone associated with the club. He failed in those duties. There have got to be sanctions for that.” Postecoglou said on the matter.

Beyond the immediate suspension, Postecoglou emphasized the need for trust-building. “There is some trust-building that needs to happen between Biss and me, and Biss and the group.

That’s what he needs to work hard at from now on to try and win that back. He may be suspended for one game, but he is going to have to earn that.

The door is open for him, and hopefully, we can help him to realize that the decisions he makes impact more than just him.”

Postecoglou also indicated that the club will support Bissouma to avoid future troubles. “From hereon, it is about trying to help him both as a person and as a footballer to make better decisions.

Within that context, there are still sanctions that include education and giving him a clearer understanding of why he did what he did and how wrong it was.

Hopefully, through that, he comes out of it — you always want to give people the opportunity to learn from their mistakes.”
