Somehow, someway, Ndidi’s biological parents’ names are unknown. The only name being touted around is a man referred to as Ndidi senior.
The reason for this might not be unconnected to the way his father, a military man, treated him when he was growing up as a child.
Ndidi senior was apparently very strict beating his son with a ‘Koboko’, a cow skin, leaving the youngster in pain for days.
His military dad didn’t like the idea of Ndidi playing football and did everything to stop him. But, he fought for his passion that went on until Nath Boys FC came calling, then Genk and afterwards, Leicester City.
