We’re not in the Premier League title race – Chelsea boss

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has said that his Blues side does not have what it takes to cover the gap opened by Manchester City, let alone winning the Premier League title.

It would be recalled that the Blues were atop the league table until December when injury and COVID-19 crisis rocked the team, thus giving room for Manchester City and Liverpool to overtake and open what now seems to an unassailable lead.

With more than half of the league games played, Tuchel’s side now trail leaders by sixteen points, while they’re seven points adrift Liverpool who occupies the second spot.

The Blues boss was speaking ahead of Chelsea’s visit to Selhurst Park on Saturday to face Crystal Palace.

“Sixteen points sounds too much. It’s too much to where we want to be and what we demand of ourselves”, Tuchel said in a presser ahead of the game away to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

“It’s the reality, and first of all, to reach your target, I think realistic approach is also necessary. So we should not get confused and start thinking about winning the Premier League and still we have to realise that we are in the race for top 4 right now which is a huge thing in the Premier League in general.”
