Victor Osimhen Wins Prize for Best Young Player at Globe Soccer Awards
Victor Osimhen of the Super Eagles and Napoli has been presented with the 2022 Globe Soccer Award for Best Young Player.
The former Lille forward was awarded at a ceremony held in November at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, with the trophy received this Wednesday.
He beat Gavi and Valverde to win the award, taking to social media to express his appreciation for the honor. “Just receive The @Globe_Soccer Award For The Power Horse Emerging Player Of The Year,” he wrote.
“Thank you for the recognition, And To Those That Have Been Supporting Me Through The Years, I Appreciate Y’all. GOD is the Greatest.”
