U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles Drawn In Pot 3

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles been drawn in Pot 3 in the draw for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia in May.

This means they will be pitched against teams in Pots 1, 2 and 4 when the draw is staged on March 31 in Bali, Indonesia.

They will not be drawn in the first round by any of the other African representatives – Senegal, Gambia and Tunisia.

Pot 1 has the likes of Italy, France as well as hosts Indonesia, while Pot 2 has England and Brazil among others.

Pot 4 has the weakest teams like Slovakia and Dominican Republic.

The qualified teams will be drawn into six groups of four teams with four third-best losers making it to the Round of 16.

The 2023 U20 World Cup will be played from May 20 to June 11.
