Super Eagles assistant captain, William Troost-Ekong is adamant that striker Victor Osimhen is the best striker in the world, following his superb performance for Napoli this season.
The 24-year-old Nigerian forward has notched up an impressive 19 goals in 22 league games.
Despite this feat, Faouzi Ghoulam believes Osimhen cannot yet compete with other prolific goal scorers such as Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
But Troost-Ekong insists his compatriot is today’s top striker.
Talking about Osimhen’s rumored move to Manchester United, Troost-Ekong said it will be a great year for the Nigerian if he wins the Scudetto and then can consider future transfer options.
