Tottenham Eyeing Iran International as Harry Kane’s Departure Looms

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly interested in signing Iranian international Mehdi Taremi as they prepare for the potential departure of Harry Kane.

The club is said to be ready to offer just under £21 million for the Porto striker.

Bayern Munich has been pursuing a deal for Kane, and Tottenham is considering their options in the market.

While they already have Richarlison at the club, they are also looking to bring in another forward.

Taremi has been identified as a target, and initial contact has been made between Tottenham and Porto.

The club is willing to offer a fraction under £21 million, but Porto is seeking closer to £26 million for the 31-year-old.

Taremi has a strong record for Porto, scoring 80 goals in 147 appearances and providing 49 assists.

He has also been a regular goalscorer for the Iranian national team.

Kane, on the other hand, is keen to join Bayern and win major team silverware.

Both clubs are aiming to finalize a deal before the start of the Premier League season.
