The African World Cup qualifiers takes center stage in African football as sides like Egypt, Tunisia and Cameroon would be in action against counterpart.

Goals would be expected in tandem with top quality football with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, Sebastian Haller of Ajax Amsterdam all on international duty for their countries.

It promises to be an epic one as it gets tough in the qualifying series. Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez is expected to feature for Algeria as the four remaining places are up for grabs in this contest.

Cameroon vs. Ivory Coast

The star studded Nigerian side would be wary of the winner of this tie and that’s got to show how tough the likes of Cameroon and Ivory Coast could be.

It promises to be an exciting game of football at home for the African 2022 Nations Cup host Cameroon.

While Ivory Coast makes the trip to face their group rivals with the aim to earn a win for themselves.

The likes of Eric Maxim Choupo Moting and Eric Baily would come face to face with each other while the track record these teams have made would endear them to a lot of people from the viewers point of view.

Nigeria vs. Cape Verde Islands

The Super Eagles are primed to win this match as hostility ensues at home in Lagos. It’s a test of team character amid the pressure on the cards for Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles.

While the visiting side would fancy their chances having seen the weakness of the African giants in recent times.

But with the experience of Odion Ighalo to be called upon probably instead of Kelechi Iheanacho’s talent for this one, anything could be the case in the final third.

While Nigeria’s chance are crystal clear  and in their own hands unless the Super Eagles choose to blow away their chances by themselves in this game.

Tunisia vs. Zambia

The North African side are on the verge of making it to the African play-off qualification but they must beat the Zambians at home in this fixture.

Otherwise they would be needing the help of Mauritania to stop Equatorial Guinea in the last group tie.

Tunisia lead the group with 10 point, the same as Equatorial Guinea but the Tunisians have a better goal difference.

While Zambia are in the third place with 7 points and it’s hard to see them qualify since they have a goal diffidence of 1 compared to Tunisia’s 10 goal difference.

Such is the case here as Tunisia would aim nothing other than top spot thus picking the sole ticket to the play-off rounds in African.
