There were scintillating moments in the Merseyside derby even as United ended their 90-minute affair on a positive note with a five-goal thriller.

The Portuguese Superstar was on hand to grab a brace thanks to the magnificent performance he and his teammate put in place against Arsenal.

It was a heartfelt emotion as he was spotted in celebration among his teammate like Jadon Sancho and co in the United rank.

The first goal was a decent finish from a cut back in the goal area from which he gave his side a 1-2 lead in the match.

But the penalty (second) goal was decisive as he confidently slotted the ball in the middle thus sending the home fans into ecstasy as it was enough to win the game for Michael Carrick and his troops.

Mohamed Salah was on point with the way he delivered the soccer punch against their Merseyside rivals in midweek Premier League contest.

He scored in each half to enhance his side’s advantage in the match much to the dismay of Everton boss Rafael Benitez.

Even as his brace further underlines Liverpool’s potential and season readiness for the big challenge that lies ahead of them.

His goal was well taken as such execution and class he exhibited to the goal would have created positive memories among viewers who witnessed his brace in the midweek game.

Heung-Min Son (Tottenham Hotspur)

With Harry Kane not on the score sheet, he took the responsibility on himself to ensure that his side secured all three points.

He’s become a key player for Spurs since his illustrious move from German Bundesliga campaigners Bayer Leverkusen.

And he was on hand to seal the win with a good finish as his side triumphed 2-0 over the newly-promoted side Brentford City at the London Arena.
