The Champions League took a new measure as most teams knew their fate as the group stage was relative concluded after six rounds of matches.

It was unbelievable but real as Barcelona was knockout of the Champions League group stage. With Bayern Munich and Benfica finishing 1st and 2nd in the group.

However, there was outstanding form and technical ingenuity from a couple of players who made the group games classy.

The French forward was outstanding thus proving his technicality in all group games he’s featured already this term.

Playing alongside Neymar Jnr. and Lionel Messi, his South American teammate was going to be an added boost to his chances in front of goals amid his gameplay.

And it’s obvious to this stance based on his contribution as he scored a well-taken brace in the 4-1 demolition of Club Brugge in the last group game of the UEFA Champions League.

Though the Argentine Superstar has been adapting gradually to new life in the French Ligue, he’s stormed to life with breathtaking performances in Europe.

Messi was on the score sheet against Manchester City when they defeat the Citizens 2-0 in Paris with Idrissa Gana Gueye scoring the other goal on that occasion.

And it will be nice to see what he can offer to the French giants later in the competition following his brace against Club Brugge in the UEFA  Champion League last group match.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

The Egyptian has been outstanding all season following his imperious form for Liverpool.

He’s one of the major lynchpins in Jurgen Klopp’s Red side and with his consistency in front of goals, it will be a productive season for the Mersey side club.

Even as they hope he is not caught up with a possible injury later on in the season ongoing.
