Stephen Odey nets fifth league goal in Denmark as Onyedika wins man of the match

Stephen Odey, former MFM striker, bagged his fifth goal of the season in Denmark’s topflight division as his Randers side lost to at home to FC Midtjylland.

Prior to today’s tie, The Horses were on a good run of form but against Midtjylland, who are on course for domestic glory, they were faced with a much harder hurdle.

Nigerian international, Raphael Onyedika put the visitors ahead when the keenly contested fixture was jus fifteen minutes old.

The 20-year old midfield dynamo bagged his brace on the the thirty-nineth minute mark, a goal which sealed Midtjylland’s first half win.

After coming out of the tunnel for the second half, former Goal King of the NPFL, Stephen Odey, pulled one back for the hosts and raised the hopes of Randers’ fans in the stands.

But after Raphael Onyedika set up Brazilian, Evander for the third goal in the sixty-fifth minute, the hopes of the home side was completely cut short.

Odey has now scored his fifth goal for Randers’ after just fourteen matchdays in the current Danish SuperLiga.
