Southampton fire manager Nathan Jones after just three months in charge

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Nathan Jones has been relieved of his duties at Southampton after a run of poor form that saw the Saints rock-bottom in the Premier League table.

After just three months as manager and following a devastating 2-1 defeat to Wolves on home turf, the Welshman has become the 8th Premier League boss to be sacked this season – second to do so at Southampton after Ralph Hasenuttl’s departure in November.

Jones had come under scrutiny for controversial comments he had made in recent weeks and seemed resigned to his fate when assessing his last game in charge where Southampton took the lead against struggling Wolves only for two late goals by Joao Gomes and an own goal from Jan Bednarek to condemn him to the sack.

He then went on backtrack from his earlier remarks claiming he had compromised on certain principles due to personnel only no more – reinforcing Luton’s “aggressive front-footed side” mantra as a successful outcome.
