Onuachu: I'm Yet To Receive Any Big Offer

A scan has confirmed that Genk forward Paul Onuachu will be sidelined for up to four weeks after he suffered a muscle tear.

The striker suffered the injury in Genk’s 1-1 draw against Royal Antwerp last weekend.

The 27-year-old was replaced by Canada forward Ike Ugbo after he tore his left thigh muscle.

The injury has effectively ruled the former FC Midtylland of Denmark star out of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Meanwhile, Genk manager Bernd Stock has blamed himself for the injury sustained by Onuachu in the Belgian Pro League clash.

“I should have replaced him earlier. However, Paul wanted to continue, he thought there was still some in the tank. Unfortunately, in one of his many sprints, he grabbed his left leg,”Stock told Voetbal.
