Gernot Rohr has refused to rule out his chance of working with Nigeria again in future.
The 68-year old Franco-German who was relieved of his duty three days ago made this known while speaking exclusively with ESPN’s Collin Udoh on Thursday.
The erstwhile Eagles’ boss, while demonstrating his love and compassion for Nigeria’s national team said he will welcome the possibility of working with Nigeria in the future he’s sought after.
“I learned to love Nigeria, because it’s a country of passion, a country of good people. Like everywhere, there are good people, and me, I remember only the good people. And that’s why, why not?”
Gernot Rohr served as the Super Eagles coach for a record five years, four months and ten days having led the team to the World Cup in 2018, a third-place finish at the AFCON 2019. He also qualified them for the AFCON 2022 and he was on course to do so for the 2022 World Cup before he was sacked.
