Paul Onuachu feels confident he can help Southampton avoid relegation this season as he joins the squad from KRC Genk.
Onuachu made his debut in the 3-0 loss to Brentford, coming on at halftime to replace Mohamed Elyounoussi.
Despite the difficult task of remaining in the Premier League, Onuachu is determined to aid Southampton in their quest with his own contribution.
“I’m very motivated,” he expressed. “It’s a huge challenge, not just for me but for everybody in the team. I’m going to give it all if I have the chance to play and try to help the team survive.”
Southampton will take on Wolverhampton Wanders at home on Saturday with hopes of turning their situation around.
