Osimhen Scoops UEFA Champions League Goal Of The Week Award

Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen has been named winner of the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week award.

Osimhen beat Manchester City duo, Kevin de Bruyne and illkay Gundogan to the individual accolade.

The Nigeria international fantastic header in Napoli’s 3-0 victory against Bundesliga club, Eintracht Frankfurt was picked ahead of others.

Osimhen rose to nod home Matteo Politano’s cross late in the first half to hand the Partenopei the lead.

The 24-year-old scored the second goal of the game early in the second half.

The striker has scored four goals in five appearances for Napoli in the UEFA Champions League this season.

Manchester City forward, Erling Haaland beat him and two others to the Player of the Week award.
