Osimhen Not Keen On Penalty Duties At Napoli

Victor Osimhen has stated that he is not desperate to become Napoli’s penalty taker.

Osimhen claimed his goals will come on a regular basis for the Partenopei if he takes penalties or not.

The Nigeria international scored twice in Napoli’s 3-0 victory against German side, Eintracht Frankfurt at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old had the chance to score a hat-trick for Napoli when Luciano Spalletti’s side were awarded a penalty in the second half but passed it to Poland international, Piotr Zielinski.

“Zielinski asked if he could take the penalty and I said no problem. It doesn’t matter who scores as long as the team achieves success,”he told reporters.

“It’s the most important thing. I know my goals will come with or without penalties.”

Osimhen has scored four goals in five appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Napoli this season.
